September 14^th - Plant Spirit Medicine – Meeting with Plants and Creating Medicines.

For the first class of the new term we will return to the subject of Plant Spirit Medicine. We will use the Shamanic techniques of the ‘Medicine Walk’ and ‘Drum Journey’ to meet with a native plant in both the physical and energetic realms. Through this meeting we will deepen our understanding of the plant’s medicine and also begin to learn the art of creating potions, tinctures and remedies.    

October 12^th - Astrology - the Planets and Signs of the Zodiac.

In this class we will make a deeper connection with the energy of each planet and see how each one manifests in the twelve signs of the zodiac. We will observe the flow of changing energy through the signs and see how each compliments the next. By connecting with our own planetary ruler and our own Zodiac sign we will find the best ways to fulfil our true potential.

November 9^th - Shamanism – Meeting with our Ancestors.

This class will focus on the Shamanic Arts practiced by our ancestors. We will discuss the magickal practices of ancient peoples and look at the ways in which they used Shamanism to help them to relate to and work with their environments. Taking advantage of the Samhain energy we will use ceremony to help us connect with our ancestors and learn how we can use Shamanism to help us in the modern world.

December 7^th - Fire - Bringing Fire into our Lives and Burning away the Old

For the first of four classes in which we will be looking at the Four Elements we will be looking at the element of Fire. In this class we will look at different ways of strengthening our relationship with Fire – learning about the nature of this element. We will work with Fire in ceremony and become confident allies of this element.

January 11^th - Earth – Meeting with the Darkness and Entering the Womb of the Earth.

At this dark time of the year we will work together to embrace our shadows as a group. Using the traditions of ancient council we will work in a circle to share the painful issues that arise during winter and create ceremony together that will allow us to embrace that darkness. We will go on a fieldtrip to Castell Carreg Cennen where we will truly meet with Earth and Shadow. 

February 8^th - Air – The Spirit of Voice – Meeting with the Magick of Sound.

Using Shamanic techniques for freeing our voices and creating sound can allow us to find enormous empowerment in our ability to communicate with the people around us and with the other worlds in Ceremony. In this class we will find ways of releasing sound from within our souls and channelling the sounds of the universe through our bodies. 

March 8^th - Water – Finding our Source and Letting our Feelings Flow.

In this class we will look at the different ways in which our emotional states can influence us in magick. We will work with the tradition of Water Skrying to find out more about this. As a group we will share our experiences of Negative Thought Forms – created by ourselves and projected by others around us. We will perform a Canoe Ceremony to discover more about the Thought Forms that attach themselves to us and try to meet with the true self that dwells at the source. 

April 5^th - Power Animals and Totem Spirits – Working with our Guides.

As we move into new phases of our lives, this class will give us the chance to re-visit Spirit Guides of our past and also make new connections with helpers that we don’t yet know of. We will use Medicine Walks and Drum Journeys to meet with our guides and discover ways of maintaining that relationship and taking advantage of it in times of great need.
