AUTUMN PROGRAMME 2009.
OAK DRAGON SCHOOL

Women's Circle: This is a monthly gathering for women of all ages and persuasions, to enjoy our femaleness, to share our thoughts, feelings and experiences. Please bring snacks and drinks to share, and your warmth and laughter too!

September 7th, October 5th, November 9th, December 7th.

Bardic Circle: An evening of poetry, storytelling, songs and music. Each month we will gather to share our bardic gifts, our inner poet or musician, to let others hear and enjoy. We welcome both published and home-grown contributions!

September 2nd, September 30th, October 28th, November 18th, December 16th.

Both these events are funded through the Magic Hat, a system of voluntary contributions where each gives as they can afford.

Magical Development Class: This class is an opportunity to learn about and use the various different tools that can help us to live a more magical and empowering lifestyle. From Astrology to Runes, through Magical Walks and Astral Journeys, the class will encourage members to bring Magic into their own lives. Each year there are Winter and Spring sessions of 6 classes, taking place on one Sunday a month, from 10 am- 5pm. Cost £30.

September 20th, October 25th, November 15th, December 13th.

Sweat Lodges: These take place on the waxing first quarter of the Moon each month, in the beautiful Elfane woodland. They are based on both Native American traditions and the ongoing Tipi Valley Full Moon sweats, and require some stamina, and ability to cope with lots of heat, and so it is advisable to discuss participation needs before attending. There is no charge.

September 26th, October 26th, November 24th, December 24th.

Working Visits: These are an opportunity to visit Elfane and the Oak Dragon school and experience some of our activities for a minimal cost, in return for helping with some of the many ongoing projects here. These can include making and testing our home made country wines, gardening, preparing sweat lodges, and creating sacred spaces. There is a £10.00 daily fee which includes food and board.
